Jason Boland and The Stragglers were at Cherry Ridge on June 1st to record a track to be offered exclusively as a download from their website. The song, "Blowin' Through The Hills", chronicles a devastating tornado that struck Arkansas in early 2008. Boland is backed by his band of stellar musicians: Roger Ray (lead/rhythm guitar), Brad Rice (drums), Grant Tracy (bass/backing vocals), and Noah Jeffries (banjo, fiddle, and guitar). This talented group has sold over 100,000 records since 1999.
